Merrill Lynch Promising Young
Entrepreneurs
The Mississippi
Council on Economic Education and Merrill
Lynch will recognize nine elementary,
middle or high school students who
demonstrate a keen entrepreneurial spirit.
These young people have demonstrated
themselves as good role models on how to
put sound economic principles to good use
and are willing to share their experiences
with their peers.
The Rewards Are GOOD!
The Mississippi Council on Economic
Education will tape an interview of each
award winner.
The Mississippi Council camera crew
travels to the winner’s school to tape the
interview. The winners share their
experience on the entrepreneurial spirit
that they have demonstrated in
participating in the Mississippi Stock
Market Game and the InvestWrite program. |
Winner’s Luncheon
The award winners and their families are
invited to the Mississippi Council on
Economic Education’s annual awards banquet
in May where a special video presentation
of their interview is shown to more than
250 businesspersons, students, teachers
and parents. Each award winner receives
a $200 cash prize.
