2025 Forum on American Enterprise
Economics in Real Time: A Candid Look at Tariffs, Markets and Modern Economic Policy
The Mississippi Council on Economic Education (MCEE) aims to enhance economic and financial literacy throughout Mississippi by equipping K-12 educators with the necessary resources and training. This empowers students to build a more prosperous future for both themselves and the state. Our annual Forum on American Enterprise helps us raise funds to support this mission statewide.
On Thursday, October 23, 2025, MCEE hosted the 2025 Forum on American Enterprise, featuring a dynamic panel of economists moderated by Mississippi State Treasurer David McRae. The panel engaged in a lively discussion on tariffs, markets, and economic policy exploring the challenges and opportunities shaping our economy today.
The Forum brought together educators, policymakers, business leaders, and community members to examine the real-world impact of economics and the importance of economic education in preparing students for the future.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this thought-provoking event. Your support helps MCEE continue to expand economic literacy and empower the next generation of Mississippians!
