Our teacher programs are designed to strengthen economics and personal finance instruction in K–12 classrooms across Mississippi. Through professional learning opportunities and educator-focused programs, the Mississippi Council on Economic Education supports teachers in helping students build critical economic understanding. Econ Reads

Master Teacher Programs
MCEE currently offers FOUR state certificate programs where Mississippi teachers can earn an endorsement on their teaching license for completion. Subject areas offered are Economics, Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship and College and Career Readiness.
Teacher Workshops
MCEE provides online and in-person professional development for all K-12 teachers, no matter your subject area! Enjoy benefits like no registration fee, included lessons plans and materials, provided lunch, no cost CEUs, and in many cases, a stipend for attendees.
Webinars
MCEE partners with organizations to bring you professional development webinars. The webinars cover multiple topics on how to integrate personal finance and economics in the classroom and create a fun learning experience for your students. Earn CEU's at no cost from home!
